Areas of Focus:

Will Hausman focuses his practice on intellectual property law, with an emphasis on trademark and copyright enforcement, IP litigation, and brand protection for e-commerce businesses and creators. He assists clients in developing, safeguarding, and maximizing the value of their IP assets, from initial registration and portfolio management to complex enforcement actions. He is particularly interested in the intersection of technology, innovation, and law, and is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and businesses navigate the evolving landscape of digital IP protection.

Experience: 

Will began his legal career as a Legal Intern working with startup companies to develop marketing strategies for their IP. He then transitioned to a Law Clerk position focusing on intellectual property litigation and enforcement. Will earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent School of Law, with a certificate in intellectual property law, and two CALI Excellence Awards. He also served on Chicago-Kent's team for the Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, and as a Notes and Comments Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review.

Prior to attending law school, Will worked as a Lab Technician at Creighton University performing research specializing in the prevention and restoration of hearing loss. Will's time at Creighton sparked an interest in patent law which inspired him to attend law school. Will received his B.S. in Biochemistry and Philosophy from Rockhurst University.

Personal touch:

Will grew up a playing soccer and is a lifelong Chelsea fan. When not advocating for his clients, he enjoys playing pickup soccer and watching Chelsea matches with his father and brother.
